Consultant Anesthesiologist – Intensivist – Pain Medicine Specialist Triple Board-Certified, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
Dr. Mohamed Aouida is a Canadian physician with over 20 years of international clinical experience in anesthesiology, interventional pain medicine, and critical care. He is triple board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, a distinction that reflects his advanced expertise across three demanding specialties.
He currently practices at CISSS Montérégie-Ouest in Greater Montreal, where he oversees complex perioperative management, advanced critical care, and specialized interventional pain procedures. His clinical expertise includes ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and multidisciplinary pain management.
In addition to his hospital practice, Dr. Aouida serves as a Faculty Lecturer at McGill University, actively involved in the training of residents and the development of academic programs. He has also held leadership responsibilities on the executive committee of many hospitals, contributing to the advancement of quality and safety initiatives in anesthesiology and intensive care.
